What is it? A built-in tool within various SSD technologies that will enable you to monitor the health and life cycle of your device. The benefits: Replace your SSD before data loss / corruption occurs Get accurate calculations on product life span Back-up critical information before potential losses Real-time temperature monitoring and retired block count. 	Power Protection
What is it? Tantalum based capacitors onboard the device which have minimal sensitivity to temperature and humidity. The Benefits: Prolong and maintain the functionality of the controller and flash for an extended period. Manage and allocate the reserve power/data to the controller by intelligently flashing to ensure the last command or data given to the flash finishes processing before the Vcc falls below the minimum working voltage. Prevent putting the existing data into risk of data corruption caused by incomplete data processing. Ensure the integrity of file allocation table. More information... 	Global Wear Leveling
What is it? Global Wear Leveling would even the erase count of all blocks, effectively “wear level” the entire SSD to extend the life expectancy. The Benefits: Global Wear Leveling treats and manages all NAND flash components in ONE drive as one unified memory management unit Global Wear Leveling maps host device's logical addresses into NAND flash physical addresses equally and randomly Endurance will be further improved when the total density increases (more spare space for spare blocks) More information...
