Kingston Technology has partnered with BlockMaster to provide organisations with a flexible solution to manage portable, encrypted Flash storage.

BlockMaster's SafeConsole® enforces full USB management control over an organisation's DataTraveler® Vault - Privacy Managed secure Flash drives.  The drive must be managed by the SafeConsole drive management system.  Wtih SafeConsole, administrators can enable specific extended DTVP-M features, configure password and device policies, remotely reset passwords, activate audit for compliance and much more.

The SafeConsole server software is accessed through a standard Web browser and can optionally reflect the corporate directory or organisational unit structure.  Each managed DTVP-M securely connects over the Internet to the SafeConsole server for configuration updates set to its specific assigned group.
