Pretec eSATA/USB SSD, a new member of Pretec's dual interface family, combines high-speed eSATA and conventional USB 2.0 interface into a handy SSD.

While the performacne of conventional USB 2.0 is limited to 480Mbps (60MB/sec), Pretec's eSATA/USB SSD can reach read speed up to 90MB/sec. Different from its similar products, Pretec's eSATA/USB SSD adopts the new power over eSATA specification, allowing power supply to external SATA (eSATA) devices without the need for an additional power connection.

With capacity choices up to 64GB, Pretec eSATA/USB SSD can fulfil professional users needs to store large files, such as photos, music and movie clips at a faster speed, but still enjoy the convenience of a USB connector to share files with laptop/PC only equipped with a USB port.
