Simms International Announces Alex Tatham as Managing Director
With effect from mid November 2007 Alex Tatham has been appointed as the new Managing Director of Simms International.
Alex Tatham, formally the Commercial Director of Bell Micro Europe and Ideal Hardware plc, brings his years of channel experience to bear on Simms International. "I'm delighted to have an opportunity to add to the rock solid foundations that have been laid over 17 years here at Simms. As other companies hanker down for a pessimistic 2008, I have been given a remit to treble the business over the next three years. It means that we will be signing vendors, growing our team and seeking new customers - how invigorating!" said Alex. "Simms has a wonderful reputation and one that given an energy surge, will achieve amazing results."
Alex graduated from Durham University in 1987 and qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Ernst & Young in 1991. He is married to Sue, has two children and lives in London.
He takes over from founder Andrew Henderson who will continue to be involved in all future plans and developments.
