Simms Appoints New Product Manager

Simms is delighted to have appointed a new Product Marketing Manager for Memory Products. Simon Worsley joined Simms on 3 rd March and will take charge of Simms’ memory vendors including Kingston Memory.
Simon joins from rival Dane-Elec having spent over 16 years in the memory industry.
Commenting on the appointment, Alex Tatham, Simms’ Managing Director said “I am delighted to welcome Simon to Simms. His wealth of knowledge and experience will be invaluable to our business as it grows rapidly over the next few years. We have recently taken on two new memory vendors – Ironkey and Patriot and there are more solid state vendors still to come.”

Recently, Simon Worsley has spent time at Dane-Elec as EMEA Sales Manager running the European Sales and before that he was the founder and Director of First Choice Components – a memory distributor which he ran for 11 years.
Simon is 34, lives in Surrey and is married to Nicky and has two children.
